Here's what you might need during the application:
- A signed contract if renovation is being completed by a contractor
- Elevation plans if work on windows facing the street are not replacement-only
Before completing consider the following:
- If applying for a duplex, please complete two applications - one for each unit
- If adding square footage, please also complete Addition or
  Accessory permit application
- A certificate of appropriateness is required for any exterior work planned for properties within the historic district
- Vinyl siding may be prohibited in certain districts including but not limited to the Neighborhood Center and Downtown districts
- If your project is a 2 - 4 digit address within Osceola, Lakeville, North Liberty, or Roseland, prior approval from the respective town is required
Be advised:
- Receipt of application does not mean a permit has been issued
- If work has been started without a permit, fines will be tripled
